But what if there are lingering spelling or grammar mistakes? You don’t want them to be the thing your readers notice.

I’ve worked with hundreds of postgraduate students since setting up my editing business in 2012, mainly on theses and dissertations.
I’ll make sure your language flows well, complies with academic English standards and has good coherence. All while correcting any spelling, grammar and punctuation errors of course!
What I can’t do is offer you any feedback or help with the content. Nor do I offer a paraphrasing service. But for all things proofreading, I’m happy to help.

How I work
You can either send me your chapters individually or as an entire thesis. I’ll edit your work with track changes turned on so you can see all the edits I make. When the file is ready to return, I leave author queries as Word comments.
Rates
My student proofreading rates range from £15 to £24 per 1,000 words depending on the level of intervention needed. I prefer payment upfront please (I’m happy to work on a chapter-by-chapter basis) and accept payment by bank transfer or PayPal.
